Using take out container lids, create a press to preserve flowers from our organic Demonstration Garden. This pretty press can be used as a suncatcher,
necklace, coaster and more!

Grow a Grassy Gal or Guy
Grow your very own plant friend. Once the grass grows, you can cut and style the "hair" with barrettes, rubberbands, and more.

Herbal Iced Tea & Tea Bags
Help make herbal iced-tea made from plants in the Conservatory’s organic herb garden. Then use some herbs to take home to make your own batch.

July 27th
Flower Sketch Pads
First dye a cloth using leaves and flowers, then assemble it into a sketchpad. Be sure to try it out and sketch the Conservatory’s plants afterwards.
August 2nd and 3rd
Banana Bling
Help celebrate our new Sugar from the Sun room by making jewelry that highlights the plants in the exhibit’s collection. String together tropical plant pictures and special sun-light activated beads, while learning how the power of the sun makes things happen inside every green plant.
