Summer Under the Stars
Every Wednesday Evening in July

After months of being held captive by the cold, Chicago is coming alive as the warm summer air starts to flow through the city. In celebration of the season, Garfield Park Conservatory is hosting their Music and Dancing Under the Stars Series, continuing its legacy as one of the city’s most organically decorated and calming venues for a variety of cultural events. Every Wednesday during the month of July, Garfield Park Conservatory will invite music lovers to enjoy their evenings with friends and family as they dance the night away surrounded by the beauty of the outside gardens of the Bluestone Terrace.  MORE

Jazz Under the Stars

July is time for our annual Jazz Under the Stars! Make sure to save the date for the 7th Annual Jazz Under the Stars on July 17th. The Bluestone Terrace will sizzle with music, dancing, friends, food and cocktails, all under a starry Chicago sky. 1,850 plants 200 tons of stone 3,900 linear feet of steel.  Built in the former Sweet House, this ground-breaking immersion experience will plunge visitors into the life of the Conservatory’s tropical collection – from mangos and bananas to oranges and papayas. Wild Wednesdays Starts in June!

Throughout the season, we are celebrating “wild things” with live animal presenter Scott Heinrichs.
